You could probably teach a college class in music and songwriting in particular based on this one song alone, and it would really be worth taking. Harrison nailed it on this. I would give anything to be the fly on the wall when Harrison peeled this baby out for Lennon and McCartney. They must've shit bricks and gone 'wow, George, nice job', and 'fuck, this guy's beating me at my own game' at the same time...hate to say it, but this may have been the most important thing Clapton ever did.
