The prof thinks it could be a marine reptile that comes to the surface only very rarely? How much is rarely? Marine reptiles breathed air, so it would have to surface frequently!

The fact that elephants don'ty live in Turkey can't be used to say it's not an elephant. big cats don't live in England yet there are still hundreds of sightings a year of them roaming the countryside. It could be someone's escaped pet or something. I'm not saying it definitely is an elephant, even though it looks a lot like one, but I'm just saying you can never discredit an idea by the fact that those animals don't 'normally' live there.

Maybe in that country doesn't have elephant, so they look elephant as monster... hahaha...

@sonofthedestroyer it swam way to fast to be an elephant anyways.... =/ what a strange creature.

@R4yiN they also swim with their trunks under water too. Look at videos of elephants swimming then this vid. Im not saying IT IS an elephant it just looks like it.

Yes elephants do swim. But, notice how close the eyes are to the relatively narrow head. Also notice the bubbling from the animal's underwater exhalation is very near to its forehead- unlike anything that would be expected from a creature that would stick its very long trunk out of the water to breathe. Nope, I don't think it's an elephant.P.S.- Since when did elephants live in Turkey?!
